The Muzzle Movement Muzzles

The Muzzle Movement muzzles are hand-made in the UK by their team of experienced dog trainers and behaviourists.  Delta Canine is the authorised distributor of these muzzles in New Zealand and Australia.

Designed with your dog’s welfare in mind, each muzzle features a purpose-built treat hole and provides ample space for sniffing, drinking, and panting to ensure maximum comfort.

All muzzles come standard with 16mm wide Biothane strapping, solid brass hardware, a 25mm wide noseband and an adjustable neck strap with buckle fastening. Straps are attached using rivets, meaning they cannot be removed or replaced without cutting. If the strap that goes around the back of the head is too long it can be cut shorter as Biothane does not fray.

While optional upgrades (such as a 38mm wide nose band) are available, they are not required for the muzzle to function effectively.  Note the 38mm will give a little extra length to the muzzle so if you think the length measurement is a bit close then the 38mm band may give that little bit extra.

Choose your preferred colour of Biothane strapping, upgrade to stainless steel hardware (note stainless steel rivets are not able to be sourced so the rivets are nickel-coated solid brass to match the stainless steel colour).  Stainless steel hardware is recommended if your dog goes in saltwater.

Add a Traffic (Grab) Handle for ease of movement in busy areas or a matching lead and collar and you and your dog will be the most stylish and safe team around!

30 day size exchanges - we understand fit is important so we can exchange a muzzle for a different size if it does not fit properly as long as the muzzle is in unused new condition (i,e just tried on for fit).  There will be a shipping charge for the new muzzle back to you and any changes to the Biothane strapping such as size or colour will incur a charge.  Please contact us to arrange an exchange within 30 days of receiving your muzzle.  Please note the 30 day time frame is for exchanges only and does not limit any of our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act - please see our Returns page for further details.

Optional Upgrades:

• Upgrade to a 38mm noseband - the basket itself remains the same.  The 38mm Biothane colour options are more limited than the 25mm wide Biothane but we are adding new colours frequently. The 38mm noseband is riveted (not Chicago screws) and will allow a little extra length to the muzzle if your dog is on the cusp in length.
• Upgrade the solid brass buckle to stainless steel (recommended if your dog goes in saltwater)
• Add in a Scavenger Guard if you wish to prevent your dog munching on unsafe or (let's face it) just plain icky stuff!
• Add nose padding for added comfort.
