Standard Shipping Methods
All domestic shipping is handled via EParcel which allows the most cost-effective courier to be used. We ship signature required to reduce the incidence of missing parcels.

Please provide a physical address for delivery as we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes

For Rural addresses it may take an extra 2 days for your order to reach you.

If you have any special shipping instructions, please include them in the "order notes" or send us an email. Via our contact page.

We do not use Saturday delivery unless requested and there is an additional charge for Saturday delivery.

Manfacturing timeframe:

All Biothane products and some tugs and toys are made to order. We endeavour to have these made and ready for shipment within 5-7 working days. Bite suits and some other technical equipment are made to order outside NZ and timeframes will be supplied on the product page. We will endeavour to keep you updated on the progress of these orders and if there are likely to be delays, we will notify you.

Delivery Confirmation
All shipments are sent signature required and tracked. We are not responsible for packages that have been confirmed as delivered but claimed as not received. It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a secure environment for delivery.

We cannot reship or refund packages that have been confirmed as delivered but claimed as not received. Please follow the process via the courier website for missing packages.

If you believe your package has been stolen, contact your local police.

Wrong Address
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide the correct delivery address. We are not responsible for packages that have been delivered to an address that was entered incorrectly. Please review your order confirmation to make sure you have entered your correct delivery address. We will make every effort to assist but we cannot refund or reship packages that have been delivered as addressed.

Unclaimed Packages
We cannot accept any responsibility, nor issue any refunds for packages not claimed. If the tracking information indicates that a package was delivered or that the Carrier attempted to deliver the package and/or left a notification, it is the buyer's responsibility to follow up with the Carrier and collect their package before it is returned. If the package is returned to us unclaimed, the items may be refunded minus the shipping charges. Any additional shipping charges levied by the carrier for return costs will be deducted from the refund.

International Shipping

We are able to ship internationally using New Zealand Couriers or NZ Post. Track and Trace with Signature required is our preferred method, unless otherwise requested by the customer. We are not yet set up for international shipping directly from our website so please contact us at info@deltacanine.co.nz if you require shipping outside of New Zealand.

A quote via email for shipping will be supplied for all international shipping orders and an invoice generated with payment enabled via a secure link to PayPal where Credit/Debit cards can be safely processed.

Once payment is confirmed your order will be released for shipping and a tracking number will be supplied.

Shipping charges are for shipping only. You are responsible for any customs or duty charges levied by your country.

Designed and made by hand in NZ from strong and resilient genuine Biothane from the USA.

Longlines come standard at 3 metres in length with brass hardware and riveted finish. This is the base product. Customise your length, hardware and finishing.

You can choose a longer line by using the drop-down menu to the right - listed as finished length. The checkout will calculate the cost of the base price 3m line plus the additional metres. The additional metres will show as a separate item from the base price at checkout. Solid Brass fittings are no extra cost, Stainless Steel incurs an additional charge, as does the stitched instead of the riveted option. These will also show as separate items at checkout in addition the base price.

If you choose stitching, this means the longline will be stitched rather than riveted at joins such as the handle and clips.

NOTE: If this item is to be used in salt water, we recommend selecting the stainless-steel option.

Biothane is very strong in terms of pulling weight and will last longer than nylon or uncoated webbing leads, but if your dog is left alone with it and chews it, they can chew through it like any long line, so we do not recommend leaving it in a position where the dog can chew it

Great service & product

We've just purchased two 5m long 16mm wide biothane longlines with an additional handle added 1m from the clip. Steve was really helpful with all my questions and very quick to respond. The leads arrived within a couple of days and they are exactly what we wanted and very well made. Would definitely recommend.

Great investment!

Love my long lines. Great colours. Super strong (I have a staffy cross). Easy to wash (my lil one loves to run around the sand and play fetch in the water). I highly recommend these. I will be purchasing more in different lengths for keeping in the car (just in case we go for a spontaneous walk or wanna play fetch at the park when running errands). 10/10 would recommend!!

Invest in a biothane longline: no regrets!

We purchased our 5m long 16mm wide biothane longline over two years ago, and since then it has been in just about daily use, (on gravel and rural roads, bush and river beds). Investing in the biothane longline was a worthwhile investment for our Staffordshire Bull Terrier. It has definitely stood the test of time, durability and quality, and still looks fantastic. Highly recommend this product. Customer service and communication was also excellent. Well done, Steve, on a great product!
